Predators Netball Club is a friendly and competitive netball club based in Truro, Cornwall. We have junior and senior teams who all train on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening at Penair School, Truro.
Through good planning and organisation we hope that we can fulfil all of our members playing needs, either for social, competitive, fun or fitness purposes.
Key Dates 2018/2019…
Our netball season has now started! Registration evenings and first training sessions are:
- Tuesday 4th September for U12s
- Wednesday 5th September for U14s. U16s and Seniors
You will need to download and bring with you a completed copy of our Player Registration Form 2018.
Training…
Training sessions consist of skills, drills, fitness, netball specific games, tactical work, team activities and match play. We are always looking for, and welcome new players; so if you are interested in joining the club, would like more information or would like to come for a taster session, please get in touch. All Predators teams train on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening at Penair School at the times specified below:
- U12 training is for Year 7 ( from September ) and below and will train on a Tuesday evening between 5.30pm and 6.45pm.
- U14 training is for girls in Year 8 and 9 ( from September ) and will train on a Wednesday evening between 6pm and 7.30pm.
- Junior League matches are played on Saturday’s at Truro School.
- Senior training is for Year 10 and above ( from September ) and will train on a Wednesday evening between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Senior home matches will be played on a Tuesday evening at either 7pm or/and 8.30pm.
Juniors
The junior coaching team ensures that sessions are always well planned, and consist of a a mixture of skills, drills, fitness, netball specific games, tactical work, team activities and match play. Rose will coach the U12 squad and U14 squad this season with junior helpers and support from other senior players.
The junior club is open to any netball player under 14. We are always looking for and welcome new junior players, if you are interested in joining the club or would like to come for a week to see how you get on, please get in touch.
Junior members compete in Cornwall’s Junior League against other local teams such as: Penryn, Storm, Penzance, St Agnes, Saints, and Bodmin. Junior League matches run most Saturdays and teams will be selected every week dependent on player performance and commitment to training.

If you join later in the year your fees will be less, so please get in touch with our treasurer and find out. You can pay your fees in instalments, or get it all out the way in one go, please get in touch to find out more. Volunteers…
Predators Netball Club only runs because of our excellent and dedicated volunteers, but we are always looking for any help/support we can get from any club friends or parents. This could be anything from taking registers at junior training, umpiring, being a welfare officer, supporting coaches, scoring at matches, organising match days or washing junior kit. Or you may have some specialist skills that you could offer us: physio, medic/nurse, accountant or fundraiser.
